Intro to Sewing II


You've completed the Intro to Sewing class and you now sport around a beautiful Market Bag.  You are comfortable around the sewing machine, pins and 
scissors. You throw around terms like backstitch, seam allowance and basting with ease.  You're ready to learn some new skills!

This class is going to introduce you to commercial patterns.  Whether sewing for yourself, home or accessories, you will find yourself looking for patterns to satisfy your sewing needs.

From sizing, to reading a pattern envelope and deciphering all it's contents, you will learn how to use patterns in this class.  

The skills you learn in this class are foundation skills.  A lot of thought and years of experience teaching students how to sew have guided the classes at Stitch Pretty toward building on one another, enhancing your knowledge as well as adding sewing tips and tricks to help you realize all your sewing ambitions.

Level:  Beginner + (you must have sewing basics including cutting, pinning and seam allowances)

Supplies:  We will send you a supply list when you register for this class.  You will need to bring your sewing machine to class. Machines must be in good working order and you must know how to thread and operate your machine. 

FREE:  If you took Intro to Sewing I with us, you have FREE use of our sewing machines and sewing equipment.
